• For the vast majority of dog owners, one thing is clear: if they are going on vacation, their four-legged friend is coming with them. Animal love plays an important role in ensuring a relaxed vacation for two-legged friends and dogs. Here at the Wagnerhof and at Lake Achensee, you don't have to worry: Dogs are welcome here too!

  Hiking

  Your dog will jump for joy! Endless paths in nature, discoveries at every turn, babbling brooks and refreshment in Lake Achensee make a hike with your dog a complete success. There are over 500 km of marked hiking trails around Lake Achensee and in the Rofan and Karwendel mountains - plenty of adventure tours for two and four-legged friends. And best of all: dogs are allowed to swim in the nearby Achensee! The cool water is a great change for water-loving dogs, especially in the warm summer months.

  Dog bathing beach

  You will find your own dog bathing beach in Pertisau on the lakeside promenade (near the tunnel/avalanche gallery). The bathing beach is a generous 800 m2 in size and has a dispenser for dog waste bags, benches and two metal steps with dog-friendly perforated metal steps to the water as well as a ramp to make it easier for dogs to get out of the water. Everything water-loving four-legged friends could wish for on a dog vacation in Tyrol.

  And at the Hotel Wagnerhof? We do our utmost to ensure that small and large furry friends have just as enjoyable a stay as their two-legged companions.

  Please bring your four-legged friend's usual blanket or basket with you. Please also remember to bring enough of your dog's usual food with you, as dog nutrition is a very individual matter, as you probably know.

  For your information:

  • Dogs are not allowed in the indoor and outdoor garden SPA areas
  • We take the liberty of charging for daily cleaning, excluding food
  • If required, we charge a one-off final cleaning fee of € 49.00 or reserve the right to charge this on site in exceptional cases.
  • Drinking and feeding bowls can be found in the booked room on request

  Something unforeseen can always happen. For such cases, you will find competent veterinary practices in Jenbach, 20 minutes from the Hotel Wagnerhof in Tyrol.

Booking & Cancellation options

Should you not be able to start your stay with us at the Wagnerhof, we can offer you the following cancellation conditions.

• Free of charge up to 4 weeks before arrival
• If you cancel between 4 weeks and 11 days before arrival, we charge 40% of the booked travel price.
• Cancellations made between 10 days and the day before arrival will be charged at 70% of the booked price.
• In the event of no-show or early departure, we will charge 100% of the travel price.
• We can offer you a free rebooking within the same year up to 3 weeks before your arrival. It is no longer possible to cancel a rebooked reservation free of charge. From the day of rebooking up to 11 days before arrival 40% will be charged, between 10 days and 5 days before arrival 70% and in case of no-show 100% will be charged.

We recommend that you take out our travel cancellation insurance, which covers cancellation costs in the event of accident, illness or death of the insured person, children, parents or grandparents. The insurance must be taken out at the same time as booking the room. Covid-19 illness is also covered by this insurance. Of course, we require written proof in each case. The costs of the travel cancellation insurance must always be paid, even in the event of cancellation less than 4 weeks before arrival. The costs of the insurance amount to 3% of the booked travel price.

As advance payment we charge 30% of the price.

Your room will be available for you on the day of arrival from 2.00 pm (apartments from 3.00 pm).
If you arrive earlier you can use the Garden-SPA on the day of arrival from 10.00 am.
But you can also start your holiday with breakfast. Breakfast is available from 8.00 to 10.00 am (€ 26.00 per person)

We ask you to vacate your room on the day of departure until 11.00 am (apartment by 10 a.m.). You are free to use our Garden-SPA on the day of departure (on request, € 25.00 per person).

If you pay your hotel bill in cash on the day of arrival, you will receive a SPA voucher* worth €25.00 per full-paying person. We accept EC card & credit cards.

For single occupancy in a double room we charge 30% surcharge in the low season, 40% in the high season per day.

Wireless internet is free and available in the whole house.

Free outdoor parking is available directly at the hotel. An e-charging station is also available for a fee.

The local bus will take you from the station to the Wagnerhof hotel for free (show your booking confirmation)
From the airport you can use a shuttle service (€ 100.00 for up to 4 persons)

Means of public transport can be used for free in the region.

We are happy to lend you hiking rucksacks and walking sticks free of charge. We do not hire out bicycles, but there are good sports stores in the village.

 We will pamper you with half board (breakfast buffet & 5-course evening menu) and our Garden-SPA. That and more can bei found at our All inclusive services.

Yes. Our small bistro will invigorate you with cake, ice cream, hearty & healthy dishes (not included) according to the motto – you can, but do not have to.

We show consideration of special diets and eating habits. Please let us know in advance in this case so that we can prepare everything.

A spa bag with bathrobe and slippers will be available for you in your room. Towels can be found on every level in the Garden-SPA. In consideration of the environment you can of course also bring your own slippers.

Yes, we have children ourselves and therefore children are very welcome. We are happy to provide you with baby equipment such as a bath tub, high chair, bottle warmer and walking stroller on site. 2 minutes walk from us you will find the playground of Wagner's Aparthotel as well as the playground of the fire station. There are also lots of great playgrounds to discover throughout the region - we are happy to give you tips on site :-)

Reduction for children applies from 2 full-paying adults

Wagner's Aparthotel

is run by son Josef with his partner Alexandra and their two daughters Rosa & Frida.

The aparthotel is a family nest member and very popular with families. Spa facilities are included & culinary delights can be booked for aparthotel guests at the main Wagnerhof hotel (2 minutes away).

Wagnerhof Apartments

is happily growing and opened at the beginning of June 2022.

Run by the youngest daughter Monika with her Georg. Two spacious apartments just a 5-minute walk from the main Wagnerhof building. Culinary delights can be booked, SPA included.

We recommend you to book your spa treatments before your arrival so that we can reserve your desired time for you. Otherwise you can book your treatment at the main reception or directly in the silence.SPA.

We are an „indoor non-smoking hotel“. We ask smokers to use the balcony or the terrace. In consideration of the other guests we kindly ask you to use the ashtrays at the two hotel entrances.

Prices & validity Achensee Holiday Card

The Achensee Holiday Card is valid for seven consecutive days and can be bought at the following prices from May to October:

EUR 94.- for adults
EUR 47.- for children (born between 2006 and 2014. Children from the birth year 2015 are free.)
